Supply chain modelling using world leading software

A logistics services company responsible for the global supply chain operations of major companies believes that they should also contribute to the development of their clients’ supply chain strategies. We have worked with them to develop their own team’s strategic supply chain network design capabilities.

A recent project concerned them supporting one of their retail clients to choose the location of their next DC in the United States. We helped them to develop a supply chain network model to determine the best location considering service lead time to stores and inbound logistics costs. The modelling indicated the best location and changed the intuitive views of the client about where to locate the new site.
